Dredging Hoses FAQ

Discharge Hose?

Discharge hoses are suitable for dredger to transport slurry, with wall thickness of 25-100mm, can be used in the temperature of -20℃ to 50℃,have good performance of wear and flexing resistance.

Floating Dredge Hoses?

Tapered floating hoses connect with bow of hopper dredger, transport slurry into floating hose. The benefits are good bending performance and greater disconnection resistance.

Armored Discharge Hose?

Armoured discharge hoses are used on dredging line, suitable for transporting sharp, large and heavy stuff such as coral reef, grit and weathered rock. With build-in wear resistance metal, inner layer have good performance of wear and flexing resistance.

Submerged Hose?

According to the requirements of customers, the rubber hose is designed to be of different buoyancy levels, which is used to connect the surface and submarine pipelines.

Application?

Our dredging hose are intended for port and dock discharing of sea water, slit, sand and other dredging application. They are commonly used in part of the construction process of docks and ports.

Characteristics?

1. Custom flanges are available.

2. Bending angle: in working conditions, the bending angle is from 0°to +45°.
3. Wear indicator layers can be implemented in the dredge hoses which transport abrasive media.
4. The outer cover is made from a rubber compound that is higly resistant against weathering, UV and Ozone.
5. A single foam floating layer prevents water absorption. The hose emergence above the water is not less than 20% of the total volume.
